The Eon Ticket is a promotional item for Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions. It can be scanned into the Game Boy Advance with the e-Reader. Once the card has been scanned into the game, the player character go into the Petalburg Gym and meet up with their father, Norman, who gives them the in-game Eon Ticket, which is used to go to Southern Island, the resting spot of Latios in Pokémon Sapphire and Latias in Pokémon Sapphire. The Eon Ticket was awarded to participants in various Nintendo-related promotions in 2003 and 2004, and also given away in an issue of Nintendo Power.
