Mt. Steel is the third dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It is unlocked after the main character and their partner save Magnemite from Thunderwave Cave and complete two rescue missions afterward. As the name would suggest, Mt. Steel primarily features Steel-type Pokémon.
Once Mt. Steel has been unlocked, Dugtrio appears at the Rescue Team Base and requests the Rescue Team to rescue its son from an angry Skarmory on the peak of Mt. Steel. The Skarmory is angry because it thought that Dugtrio and its son Diglett were the cause of recent earthquakes, so the Skarmory kidnapped Diglett and took it to the top of Mt. Steel.
Skarmory only appears during the initial mission, meaning that once it has been defeated by the rescue team, the Skarmory is no longer found at Mt. Steel.
