Munchlax is a Normal-type Pokémon which was introduced in the Generation IV games, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions. It evolves into Snorlax by having a high friendship level with the player character.
As its name implies, Munchlax enjoys eating more than anything else. It also appears to be more energetic, as Munchlax tends to eat more than it sleeps.

Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, a Munchlax occasionally eats the Poké Food placed on the Poké Spots. When the player character finds Munchlax, its trainer appears and apologizes, giving the player character the amount of Poké Food that Munchlax ate and a random Herb.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
In the Super Smash Bros. series, Munchlax only appears as a Poké Ball Pokémon in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When released from the Poké Ball, Munchlax walks around the stage, eating any item it comes across, including Smash Balls.
