Pokémon Project Studio Red and Blue Versions is a pair of two creation studio programs for Microsoft Windows. It was released on November 9, 1999 in North America and in Europe in 2000. It was licensed by Nintendo of America, developed by Leisure Concepts and published by The Learning Company. It is named for the core series titles Pokémon Red and Blue Versions. Pokémon Project Studio Red and Blue Versions features artwork of Generation I Pokémon as well as human characters from the Pokémon anime series.
The package was targeted at families with the aim introducing the Pokémon franchise to parents unfamiliar with it, while children enjoy exercising their creativity and imagination.[1]
Gameplay
From the main menu users can choose the type of media they wish to create including greeting cards, signs, birthday kits, banners, photos, stationery, envelopes, calendars, paper crafts, certificates and stickers. The user can use several included images and templates or they can import custom images into the picture. Pokémon Project Studio Red Version and Pokémon Project Studio Blue Version each have artwork of 81 Pokémon, and the main difference between the versions is that some of the Pokémon are not featured on the other version.
