Shadow Force is the signature move of Giratina. It is a Ghost-type move which first appears in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions. By using the move, Giratina vanishes for one turn, becoming invulnerable to attack, and then striking the target Pokémon the next turn. Shadow Force can break through Protect and moves related to it.
