Silent Chasm is the fifth dungeon in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team. It consists of nine floors, and is mainly inhabited by Bug/Poison-dual type Pokémon, despite having a barren terrain.
The mission is to reach B9F and rescue Shiftry and its rescue team, who have gone missing while on their own rescue mission. The player's rescue team can only do this mission after they have defeated Team Meanies at Sinister Woods.
